Off-Premise Bar Services - FAQs

  1. Can we bring in our own alcohol and just have you serve it?

A: No. The Michigan Liquor License Control prohibits this. All alcohol must be purchased through Watermark 920 for licensing and liability purposes.

  2. Can we create a customized package?

A: Of course! We will work with you on whatever you would like to host for your beverage service. Please inquire with our bar coordinator for bar options for packages.

  3. Can I provide my own bartenders?

A: No. Our bartenders are fully trained and TIPS or TAM certified.

  4. What is needed at the time of signing a contract?

A: At the time of signing a contract on A La Carte bar services, we require a $300 non-refundable deposit. Your final bar bill will be tallied up at the conclusion and payment in full will be required at that time ($300 deposit goes toward bar bill).

At the time of signing a contract on Package bar services, we require 15% down payment. The remainder of the bar bill will be due at the conclusion of your event.

  5. Does the host receive all the leftover beverages?

A: Yes! We will cork/cap/box up all leftover “opened” products for you with the exception of draft beer. All products will be released to someone of age and must vacate the premises immediately. We do not hold products for you. If you wish to take the draft beer, we will release to you. No tap is included and we require the $30 deposit (paid for by us when purchased). You may then return the empty keg to any party store that accepts them, and you will receive your $30 deposit back at that time.

  6. Do we have to pay the per person price for children as well?

A: Children will be charged $5 each (under 4 years of age is no charge). Our service will provide them with unlimited soda and bottled water.
